We have just been advised by our Internet Service Provider (ISP) – Network Nebraska – that there will be a series of maintenance operations across much of the Network Nebraska network on Saturday, 12/22.  Maintenance will begin at about 6:00am on Saturday and continue through the day at various locations until about 6:00pm.  Interruption of Internet access is expected during this maintenance window.

Specific maintenance will include (in roughly this order) replacement of the Lincoln core router, upgrades to the Network Nebraska core routers in Omaha, Grand Island and Scotts Bluff and upgrades to the software running aggregation switches serving Lincoln and Omaha.  Please expect Internet service to be sporadic throughout the day as Network Nebraska hardware is replace and existing hardware is rebooted frequently and repeatedly to process software upgrades.
