Professor Antwan Wilson, M.A.
Before joining NWU’s Education Department, Antwan served as chancellor of the Washington, D.C., school district and as superintendent of the Oakland, Calif., school district. He has a national reputation for successful reforms at struggling schools. He is a Lincoln native and a Nebraska Wesleyan alumnus.
Professor Randy Ernst, Ed.D. M.A.
Randy has more than 30 years of experience with Lincoln Public Schools and is nationally recognized for his work in professional learning communities and positive psychology in education. At this event, he will share insights on merging academic achievement and personal well-being in the classroom.
Professor Tanya Martin, Ed.D, M.S.
As a special education educator, administrator and researcher, Tanya has a passion for helping at-risk students with special education or mental health needs. She is a board member of NeSTAR (Nebraska Educators for Students at Risk) and has earned distinguished awards for her work.
