Donor Honor Roll 2019-20

Each year, Nebraska Wesleyan University alumni and friends like you make the signature NWU experience possible. Contributions across the university—from athletic teams to endowed professorships and student scholarships to capital construction—add up to make Nebraska Wesleyan an outstanding liberal arts community.

Your gifts make an impact. Whether you focus on the area of campus life most important to you or support initiatives across the university, you shape who we are today and who we will be in the future.

The Cook family’s contributions to Nebraska Wesleyan exemplify their commitment to every aspect of the NWU experience. Since Kevin (’86) and Julie (’88) graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan, they have given back to the place that brought them together and gave them the foundation of knowledge and skills to be successful.

Athletics plays a prominent role in the Cook family’s story: Kevin was a four-year starter on the men’s basketball team, and Julie played women’s volleyball. Their oldest daughter, Chelsea, played NCAA-I volleyball at Duke University. Their two younger children, Courtney (’16) and Cooper (’19), followed Kevin’s footsteps to starting spots for NWU basketball. Seeing the fruits of their investment through Courtney and Cooper’s experiences, Kevin and Julie continue to make a difference in the present and future of Nebraska Wesleyan.
