Submit a Story

Contact Kellan Heavican and tell him your story! He will work with you to craft a story to share with local and regional media and publish it on the university website.

Before you contact Kellan, think about your story by answering the following questions:

• Who is involved? Include any noteworthy information about the participants.
• What is the nature of the story (ie. research, award, donation, newly appointed professor, study abroad trip, student achievement, lecture). Include any ties to current events.
• When will the news take place - time, date, year?
• Where is the news or event taking place? Give specific addresses.
• Why is the story newsworthy? What makes the story unique and distinguishes it from others like it?
• How was the decision made, the candidate chosen, the research conducted?
