Student Center Lower Level - Career Center
My goal is to inspire students to become lifelong learners who know how to increase their knowledge and explore possibilities. My teaching style is direct and mastery-based which allows it to be adaptive to students needs. Students will leave my class feeling empowered to grow in their career identities, equipped to network with other professionals, and confident in their ability to navigate the career landscape.
I earned my Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2010. While training at KU as a Career Counselor, I developed a love for helping students to navigate the career landscape. While there I also designed a research study examining the connection of career development to student persistence to graduation. I have presented internationally at conferences about my research and to small groups about career development topics. I am passionate about helping students identify their career dreams and achieve them!
