Dr. Teresa Wanser-Ernst

Dr. Wanser-Ernst began her career as an elementary teacher, teaching upper elementary grades in Lincoln Public Schools. After 10 years of teaching, she became part of a team of teachers hired by LPS to develop assessments to report on student achievement to the Nebraska Department of Education. Dr. Wanser-Ernst has gone on to become an Assessment/Evaluation specialist for LPS where she works with curriculum specialists to develop district-wide common assessments. In this position she also analyzes data that are used to show the impacts of a wide variety of targeted interventions, generally funded through grants, that help to meet the needs to students and families in the LPS community.
