Our commitment to the study of religion dates back to Nebraska Wesleyan University’s founding in 1887. We maintain our relationship with the United Methodist Church, and enjoy a long history of preparing religion scholars for advanced study and careers in ministry.
Students of all faiths study religion at NWU, both as a secular, academic discipline, and as a way to deepen and apply their faith. They go on to become scholars of religion, missionaries, faith-based advocates and engaged global citizens in all fields.
