Barry M. Kroll, PhD, professor emeritus from Lehigh University, will speak about “Learning to Argue Differently” when he delivers the annual Holder Lecture on Thursday, April 25.

Kroll has investigated children’s writing abilities, explored patterns of writing and reflective thinking in adolescents, and developed an innovative approach to teaching the art of argument for college students.
