Student Employment Application for General Positions

Nebraska Wesleyan provides on-campus employment opportunities to full-time CLAS students. Approximately 38% of our students work on campus during a school year.  The Federal Work Study program provides on-campus and community service off-campus employment opportunities for students whose Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) shows the greatest financial need.
The majority of campus employment placements are made at the beginning of the school year. To assist with educational expenses, NWU strives to hire as many students as possible and for that reason we limit students to one job on campus and ten (10) hours of work per week.  All students are paid the hourly federal minimum wage.  Applications from students who are not placed initially are held for possible placement during the year.

Please be prepared to discuss what your work availability and ideal working times when meeting with the Financial Aid Office or potential supervisors.

As a student at Nebraska Wesleyan,  your on-campus employment is secondary to your academic progress.  Student employment is a meaningful part of an enriching college experience, and can lead to job skills that you will use in searching for your career after college.
