Sociology, Race Relations & Minority Groups, or Sociology of the Family Adjuncts
Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applicants to fill adjunct teaching positions for the Spring and Fall 2023 academic semesters. Applicants who are qualified to Introduction to Sociology, Race Relations and Minority Groups, and/or Sociology of the Family will be considered for these positions.
- Master’s Degree (or higher) in Sociology
- One to three years of teaching experience is preferred
- Familiarity with Canvas or similar LMS software is a plus
- Demonstrated interpersonal and innovative teaching skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and students
- Strong commitment to student-centered active learning and student engagement
- Background check and official transcripts needed post job offer, pre-employment
