The Political Science Department of Nebraska Wesleyan University is looking to recruit adjuncts to teach both introductory and elective courses in US and International Politics for the 2020-2021 school year in a face to face format. We offer small class sizes in a liberal arts environment with great colleagues.
For the fall, we are particularly interested in candidates who can teach: Intro to US Government, Intro to International Politics, Human Rights, and Intro to Statistics.
In the spring, we are interested in candidates who can teach a variety of electives in US politics, comparative politics, and legal studies.
- A doctorate degree, or Master’s degree plus 18 completed credit hours towards a doctoral degree in Political Science or a related field is required
- One-year of relevant teaching experience
- Familiarity with Canvas course technology or similar LMS software is a plus
- Demonstrated interpersonal and innovative teaching skills are required
