Part-time Adjunct Faculty for Mathematics Course


Nebraska Wesleyan University is seeking applicants to fill an adjunct teaching position for the spring semester:  January 10 – May 7, 2022.  This position is for one section of College Algebra (Tu/Th 10:20-11:35am or 12:20pm-1:35pm), which will be taught on our campus (face to face format) in Lincoln, NE. Candidates will be able to identify which time slot they would be able to teach.

Math 1100:  College Algebra (3 hours)

A study of functions from algebraic, graphical, numerical and modeling perspectives. The functions are chosen from among linear, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic. Prerequisite: Math ACT score of at least 21.

  • At least a Master’s Degree in a mathematics a related field OR a master’s in a different field with at least 18 graduate hours in math or statistics
  • One to three years of teaching experience is preferred
  • Background check and official transcripts needed post job offer, pre-employment
