A tradition for both NWU Theatre and audiences, this classic story brings the magic of the holiday season to young and old alike.

Performances will be held in McDonald Theatre, located at 51st Street and Huntington Ave. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors (55+) and students (K-College). Nebraska Wesleyan musical theatre students will explore the “Christmas of Past and Present” with their holiday-themed weekend cabaret, December 8-11.

Cabarets will be performed December 8-10 at 7:30 p.m. and December 11 at 2:30 p.m. Each show will look at holiday traditions and songs that span generations and will include performances of “Merry Christmas Darling,” “Holly and the Ivy,” “Santa Clause is Coming to Town,” “Silent Night” and many more. Each cabaret will differ in the songs and skits performed.

Admission is $6 and tickets can be purchased at theatre.nebrwesleyan.edu or reserve them by calling the box office at 402.465.2384.

All performances will be held in the Studio Theatre, located at 2710 N. 48th Street. Free parking is available behind the building.

A 24-year-old Nebraska Wesleyan holiday tradition continues with the Elizabethan Feast.

This event sends participants back into the 16th century for a four-course meal served with entertainment by the Chamber Singers, Recorder Consort, Herald Trumpets, and the Theatre Players.

Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 402.465.2269. Seating is limited.

The Elizabethan Feast will be held in Great Hall of the Smith-Curtis Administration Building, located one block east of 50th Street and St. Paul Ave.
