Sharon Bredehoft is in her fifth season with the Prairie Wolves. After receiving a scholarship to play volleyball at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1982 to 1986, Bredehoft went on to coach the JV volleyball team at Lincoln High School from 1986 to 1987. She then coached for the YMCA and other club programs while working summer volleyball camps.

Bredehoft, originally from Clinton, Iowa, earned a degree in Sports Management and currently works as the Executive Director of the Downtown Lincoln YMCA. She and her husband Gary have four children, Mike, Scott, Sydnie and Tobie.
