Campus escort service
Security officers can escort students, faculty and staff on campus between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. The security officer on duty will escort the individual as he/she is available. Call 432.9238.
NWU Security
Nebraska Wesleyan employs a security agency and off-duty police officers to provide security for students, faculty, staff and facilities.

Security Telephones
Blue-light security telephones are located at several locations throughout campus.
- between the Vance D. Rogers Center for Fine Arts and Elder Memorial Speech and Theatre Center
- on the south side of the suite-style residence halls
- between Rachel Ann Lucas Hall and the Smith-Curtis Classroom Administration Building
- at the Heating Plant/Security Office.
Each campus building includes a campus telephone at the interior entrance.
Wesleyan Wheels
Wesleyan Wheels provides a free, safe ride home for all current students at Nebraska Wesleyan.
- Call the cab company (477.4111 or 477.6074).
- Identify yourself as a Wesleyan student, give them your name, pickup location, and exact home address/residence hall name.
- Show the driver your Wesleyan ID with the Wesleyan Wheels Sticker*.
- The driver will pick you up and drop you off. A tip would be appreciated.
- Wesleyan Wheels runs from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- The driver will only take you home. They will not take you to another location.
- You must have student ID with the Wesleyan Wheels sticker*. No sticker, no free ride.
*Need a Wesleyan Wheels sticker? Pick one up in the Student Life Office, located on the upper level of the Story Student Center.

Security Walk
Each semester, members of the Student Affairs Senate and NWU administrators take a late-night campus walk to monitor lighting needs, shrubs in need of trimming, or other potentially dangerous areas of campus that should be addressed.
