Continually accredited since 1914, Nebraska Wesleyan was founded in 1887 by Nebraska Methodists and actively maintains its relation to The United Methodist Church. NWU maintains a mutually supportive relationship with the Nebraska Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, while welcoming students, faculty, and staff of all denominations and beliefs.
