Become a Prairie Wolf

Nebraska Wesleyan students succeed in so many walks of life. You’ll succeed too because of the effort you give and the support you receive.

See how our alumni have applied their NWU experiences towards success in their careers and their lives.

Make the right choice for your future and follow the steps below to complete the application and enrollment process.

  1. Apply to Nebraska Wesleyan.

Your Nebraska Wesleyan experience begins by completing our free online application. To learn more about our academic requirements, the application process and enrollment process, see Apply page. If you’ve applied and have been accepted, complete the following steps to enroll and become a Prairie Wolf!
  2. File your FAFSA and send us your financial aid information.

Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at fafsa.ed.gov. Make sure we receive your FAFSA information by entering Nebraska Wesleyan University’s school code: 002555 as a recipient college.
  3. Review and accept your financial aid award.

Nebraska Wesleyan customizes aid packages to each student’s needs and strengths. Once we receive your FAFSA information, we build your financial aid package and send you your financial aid award letter. Even if you don’t file the FAFSA, it is likely you will qualify for academic and achievement scholarships at NWU. Review your letter, accept the aid offers and return it to secure your awards.
  4. Submit your tuition deposit.

The $350 tuition deposit secures your seat in our incoming class. Submit your tuition deposit online or by mail with your Intent to Enroll form by May 1 or within two weeks from the date received (whichever is later). Tuition deposits are refundable in writing through May 1. We determine housing assignments by the date tuition deposits are received.
  5. Submit your housing request.

Complete the online Housing Request Form so that we can make the best housing placement possible. We hand select housing options for all new and incoming students based on the information you provide in this questionnaire. Even if you do not plan to live on campus, you still need to complete the housing form.
  6. Register for New Student Registration - First Year Students Only.

Attending New Student Registration (NSR) is an important and exciting start to your Nebraska Wesleyan College experience. During NSR, you will meet your future classmates, attend information sessions and meet a faculty advisor who will help you finalize your class schedule.

NSR sessions will be held on the following dates from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.:

To make your reservation, first complete all the steps outlined above and then sign up indicating which NSR session you would like to attend. Parents and guardians are welcome also. A free lunch will be served.
