I work with first year students from the Lincoln and St. Louis areas.

My advice to a student in the college search process is:
Do your research and find a school that’s a good fit for you. You can start exploring online, but a website can only give you a limited amount of information. Visit all schools you’re interested in and get the “feel” of each campus. You’ll know what feels right when you’re there.

I work with first year students from Central Nebraska and all states East of the Mississippi River plus Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.

My favorite thing about Nebraska Wesleyan is:
We give students the experience of studying at a small school in one of the greatest college towns in the Midwest. From Lincoln’s social activities to business opportunities, you’ll have great internship and job options plus there’s always something to do on the weekend.

I work with first year students who live northwest of Omaha--including the cities of Bennington, Elkhorn and Gretna and the counties of Burt, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Saunders and Washington. I also work with first year students from western Nebraska and Colorado.

My favorite place on campus is:
The Olin computer labs late at night. Some of my closest friendships and fondest memories were made while staying up late working on homework and research papers. Someone would always bring in brownies, cookies or coffee to keep the energy up. We even had a mini dance party one Saturday night when we were finishing our senior theses.

Caitlyn Potter

I work with first-year students from Northeast Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, California, and Hawaii.

My advice to a student in the college search process is:
Ask yourself, "How will your school help achieve your goals?” The most important factor in your college decision is what you want to accomplish! Your college needs to help you get there. Whether you have a major in mind or want room to explore, it’s all about realizing your individual dreams.

Benjamin Smith

I work with first year students from the Omaha area.

Nebraska Wesleyan University is unique because:
Professors know their students, and they talk, learn, work, eat, volunteer, do research, travel and have fun together. Personal attention at NWU means that our students have a tremendous educational experience!
