Speaking Workshop
Do you have a public presentation to make? An oral report to deliver? A speech to give? Our consultants can help by showing you exactly how you appear when you speak. In a private area of the Cooper Center, one of our consultants will videotape as you do a "dress rehearsal" of your speech. Afterward, you and the consultant will review this tape and discuss strategies for ways to improve your "performance."
Consultants can help you with such things as:
- Nonverbal communication (posture, bodily movement, gestures)
- Speaking voice (quality, volume, pronunciation, stress, pitch)
- Analyzing your audience
- Supporting and arranging your points
- Beginning and ending your speech
- Interacting with your audience
