Bridge Transfer Scholarship

Additional NWU scholarship

Nebraska Wesleyan University offers a limited number of non-competitive $1,000 scholarships to students transferring to NWU from Central Community College, Iowa Western Community College, Metropolitan Community College or Southeast Community College.

Transfer students from these schools must:

  • be in good standing at their community college and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0;
  • have completed at least 24 semester credit hours (or 36 quarter credit hours);
  • be accepted as a degree-seeking student at NWU and
  • enroll in at least 6 credits.

Students may use the Bridge Transfer Scholarship for Nebraska Wesleyan’s traditional undergraduate degrees, or for Wesleyan Advantage—NWU’s program for working adults in Lincoln and Omaha.

There is no separate application process or restriction on how recent the transferring credits must be.
