Bridge Transfer Scholarship
Nebraska Wesleyan University offers the Bridge Transfer Scholarship—an automatic, non-competitive $1,000 award to eligible students transferring to NWU from Iowa Western Community College, Metropolitan Community College, Southeast Community College, and Central Community College.
Transfer students from these three schools must:
- be in good standing at their community college and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0;
- have completed at least 24 semester credit hours (or 36 quarter credit hours); and
- be accepted for admission to NWU.
Students may use the Bridge Transfer Scholarship for Nebraska Wesleyan’s traditional undergraduate programming, or for Wesleyan Advantage—NWU’s program for working adults in Lincoln and Omaha.
There is no separate application process or restriction on how recent the transferring credits must be.
Students transferring into Wesleyan Advantage will receive the Bridge Transfer Scholarship once they have begun their sixth credit hour.
