NWU admits transfer students based on their college work to date. You must be in good standing at your current school and have at least a 2.00 GPA.

  • Apply for admission for free online
  • Or print the transfer application (PDF) and mail it in with a $20 check

Submit official transcripts from all the colleges you’ve attended. We’ll let you know your status after we review your academic records and test scores.

Transferring Credit

After you’re accepted, the Registrar will determine which credits transfer.

  • We accept credit from accredited 4-year institutions for courses with a C- or above.
  • We evaluate credits from accredited 2-year institutions on a case-by-case basis. We accept no more than 64 semester credit hours for transfer from community or vocational/technical colleges.
  • View the list of courses from Nebraska community colleges that may transfer to NWU. Login to WebAdvisor as a guest and click on “Transfer Equivalencies” to search and review transfer credits.
