Honors Convocation to Celebrate Student, Faculty Achievements

The academic achievements of NWU students and faculty will be celebrated Friday, May 7 during the annual Honors Convocation and reception.

Students who have won national prestigious scholarships will be recognized, several academic department awards will be presented, and students who have been initiated into academic honoraries during the 2009-2010 academic year will be celebrated.

Several faculty awards will also be presented including the White Award for Internationalization and the Prouty Teaching Award.

The convocation begins at 3 p.m. in McDonald Theatre and will be followed with a reception in Great Hall at 4 p.m.
