Nebraska Wesleyan’s theatre students will celebrate the “Bard of Avon’s” birth and death day with a special event called “Shakespeare Shorts.”

Beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 23, theatre students will perform sonnets, monologues and scenes from some of Shakespeare’s most famous plays including Romeo and Juliet, The Comedy of Errors, As You Like It, Hamlet, MacBeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and many more.

The “shorts” will be performed randomly throughout the day at various campus locations including outside the Smith-Curtis Administration Building, Alabaster Lounge, sand volleyball court, Old Main amphitheatre and Taylor Commons.

Thanks

This is a super idea which will contribute to the academic ambiance on campus. Thanks to the students and faculty in theatre. Judy
