Nebraska Wesleyan University’s theatre students will perform the quick-witted comedy, Hay Fever.

Set between the two world wars, a laughable story unfolds as four guests visit an unconventional and family’s home and find themselves reaching for the door. The mother who is a retired stage actress, the father who is an egocentric novelist, and their two peculiar children are somewhat of a wonder to the more conventional guests, a diplomat, a reserved flapper, a boxer, and a sophisticate. As these guests enter the home of the eccentric family, they are quick to learn the family often has difficulty distinguishing reality from their entertainment-based lives.

Performances are scheduled for April 8-10 and April 15-17 at 7:30 p.m. Matinee performances are scheduled for April 11 and April 18 at 2 p.m. All shows will be held in McDonald Theatre, located on 51st Street and Huntington Avenue.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, and $5 for students. To reserve tickets, call the box office at 402.465.2384.
