Meeting Scheduled for HLC Team to Collect Student Feedback
On Monday, February 15, a five-member team from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Center Association of Colleges and Schools will begin its three-day visit and they want to hear student feedback.
The HLC’s visit will evaluate the entire University’s formal education activities, governance and administration, financial stability, admissions and student personnel services, institutional resources, student achievement, institutional effectiveness, and relationships with constituencies outside the institution. The last HLC visit occurred in 2000 and accreditation was continued for 10 years.
Undergraduate students are encouraged to attend the student forum on Tuesday, February 16 from 1 to 2 p.m. in Callen Conference Center. Team members will gather student input as it evaluates the university and makes recommendations for NWU's future.
