NWU Sets $40,000 Goal For Weekend's Relay For Life

Nebraska Wesleyan University will host its ninth annual Relay for Life event on Friday, April 13. This year's goal is $40,000.

Activities will commence at 6 p.m. and will continue until 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 14. The event will be held in Knight Field House, located at 53rd Street and Huntington Ave.

The family-friendly event will feature circus games and entertainment, memory walks, and a luminaria ceremony to honor those who have lost the battle with cancer and those currently fighting cancer.

Cost to attend the event is $10.

All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
