The Nebraska Wesleyan University volleyball program will participate in a Dig Pink promotion for their final home match of the season on Saturday, October 31 when they host Briar Cliff University at 12:30 p.m. All proceeds from the event will go towards breast cancer research.

The event, which is held in conjunction with homecoming festivities, will begin with a silent auction that opens at 9:30 a.m., in Knight Fieldhouse. Admission to the NWU-Briar Cliff match will be free with donations being accepted going directly to breast cancer research. In addition, the first 200 fans will receive a free tshirt.

The JV match will begin at 11 a.m., with the varsity to follow at 12:30 p.m. The Prairie Wolves will wear pink uniforms during the match.

This is the 2nd Annual Dig Pink event for NWU volleyball. Last season, Nebraska Wesleyan raised over $2,300 for breast cancer research. This year's goal is $2,500.

For the second year, this event is sponsored by Nebraska Hematology Oncology.
