Students Issue Challenge to Student Body: 3000 Service Hours

Thursday, February 2, 2012, marked the start of an exciting challenge for the spring semester.

At the recent Global Service Learning community conversation students proposed a challenge to the student body to complete 3,000 hours of service by the end of the semester. That's just 2 hours per student.

Thermometers tracking the study body's progress will soon appear around campus.

All service counts, including service for a class, for a club, for a Greek chapter, or on your own.

To log your hours, go to: https://sites.google.com/site/nwuservicechallenge/

Encourage others to volunteer with you. Log it all and watch the hours tally up!

For questions, contact student body president Phil Bakken or Kelli Wood, service learning coordinator.
