Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Theatre Department will present the student-directed play, “Drop Dead!,” January 26-28.

A murder-mystery written by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, “Drop Dead!” follows a group of washed-up actors who came together in a potboiler murder mystery directed by “Wonder Child of the Broadway Stage” Victor Le Pewe. At the dress rehearsal the set fall, props break, and the producer and an actor are murdered. During the opening night performance, the murders continue. The remaining thespians must save the show and their careers, solve the mystery and stay alive for curtain calls.

“Drop Dead!” will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Miller Theatre, located at 51st Street and Huntington Ave. Admission is $5. To reserve tickets, call the box office at 402.465.2384.

The play will be directed by Nebraska Wesleyan University senior Tony Bunnell.
