Weekend Cabaret Will Celebrate the Music of "Lieber & Stoller and Lennon & McCartney"
Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Theater Department will present a weekend cabaret with music by Lieber & Stoller and Lennon & McCartney.
Performances will be held November 22-24 at 7:30 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee on November 24. All performances will be held in the Studio Theater, located at 2710 N. 48th Street, two blocks west of the NWU campus. Free parking is available behind the building.
This cabaret is going back to the 1950s and 1960s, with popular songs like “Hey Jude,” “Hound Dog,” “Stand By Me,” “Let It Be,” and music from “Smokey Joe’s Café.” Every performance is different in its combination of songs and stories.
General admission tickets are $5. Saturday night’s performance also includes a limited number of table seating, which includes appetizers and dessert, for $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online, or call the theater box office at 402.465.2384.
