One year ago Nebraska Wesleyan students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university were challenged to volunteer 12,500 hours of service in honor of our 125th anniversary. It took us only eight months to meet that challenge.
Our community has since gone above and beyond the challenge. The grand total will be announced during halftime of the homecoming football game on Saturday, September 21. Please add any service hours you have served in recent weeks and over the summer to our tally.
Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends will have one last opportunity to contribute to this service challenge by participating in the homecoming Community Blood Bank blood drive on Friday, Sept. 20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Weary Center. Sign up for the blood drive today.
