Area Choirs To Ring In Season With "Joy! Joy! A Holiday Celebration" Concert
Nebraska Wesleyan’s award-winning University Choir will celebrate the holidays with a concert of music for the season on Sunday, December 16.
The University Choir will be joined by the Lincoln Choral Artists and Lincoln’s Irving Middle School Impact Choir for “Joy! Joy! A Holiday Celebration.” Each of the choirs will perform including the Lincoln Choral Artists who will sing “A Day for Dancing.” The piece will feature guest instrumentalists and dancers. The choirs will combine for a Christmas carol sing-along to close the concert.
The University Choir and Lincoln Choral Artists are under the direction of William A. Wyman. The Irving Middle School Impact Choir is under the direction of NWU alum Mike Robb. C. Richard Morris is the guest organist.
The concert begins at 3 p.m. in O’Donnell Auditorium, located at 50th Street and Huntington Ave. It is free and open to the public.
