Nebraska Wesleyan University students are invited to join the Psychology Department for three upcoming panel discussions on job searching, graduate school and applying to graduate school.
Panels will be held on the following:
Monday, November 26 — Finding a Job With Your Bachelor's Degree. 3-4 p.m., Olin A Lecture Hall. Join Kat Kreikemeier from the Career and Counseling Center. She will discuss where to look for jobs, how to advertise yourself, how to do an interview.
Monday, December 3 — What is Graduate School in Psychology Like? 3-4 p.m., Olin A Lecture Hall. Come hear about graduate work from psychology alumni. Learn how to prepare for graduate school and what it is like once you get there.
Wednesday, December 5 — Applying to Graduate School in Psychology, 3-4 p.m., Olin A Lecture Hall. What types of graduate degrees are there? How do I apply? When do I take the GRE? What is the GRE? Who do I ask for a letter of recommendation? Join Kat Kreikemeier from the Career and Counseling Center who will share everything you need to know about the application process.
