Tony Stajduhar of Jackson and Coker, a leading physician recruiting firm, will present “Opportunities and Challenges Created by Obamacare” at Nebraska Wesleyan University.

The presentation, hosted by the university’s Pre-Health Club, will be held Wednesday, November 28 at 7 p.m. in Olin B Lecture Hall, located one block east of 50th Street and St. Paul Ave.

Stajduhar, who serves as president of Jackson & Coker’s Permanent Recruitment Division, says as the provisions of the Affordable Care Act trickle into place, it will have corresponding affects on everyone, particularly physicians, hospitals, and patients.

Stajduhar’s lecture will address the shortage of physicians due to growing population rates and impending retirement ages. He will also talk about opportunities for healthcare professionals created by the Affordable Care Act, changes to patients’ ability to see primary care physicians, and what healthcare professionals are saying about the changes.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

The lecture will also be available on the Nebraska Wesleyan University website.
