NWU Opera Scenes: Liars and Villains and Cads, Oh My!
Nebraska Wesleyan University’s music students will perform excerpts from six popular operas when they present the annual Opera Scenes program.
Opera scenes will be held November 12-13 at 7:30 p.m. in O’Donnell Auditorium, located at 50th Street and Huntington Ave.
This year’s program will feature the theme “Liars and Villains and Cads, Oh My!” Music will be performed from Stephen Paulus’ “Harmoonia,” Jacques Offenbach’s “Tales of Hoffman,” Georges Bizet’s “Carmen,” Giuseppe Verdi’s “La Traviata,” Giacomo Puccini’s “Tosca” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Don Giovanni.”
