Symposium Keynote to Address "It's All Sociology: A Retrospect"

NWU's Sociology Department is hosting the Nebraska Undergraduate Sociological Symposium.

Students and faculty from sociology programs across the state will be on campus to present research, classroom experiences, and off-campus experiential learning activities.

On Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Dr. Peter Adler of Denver University will present the keynote address. Dr. Adler and his wife, Patti Adler, have written numerous books and articles on topics including drugs in America, the world of self-injury, pre-adolescent culture, hotel workers in the global economy, social behaviors in financial markets, and an encyclopedia of criminology and deviance. Dr. Adler's talk is titled, "It's All Sociology: A Retrospective." The talk begins at 7:30 p.m. in Callen Conference Center. His presentation is free and open to the public.
