Weekend Cabarets Begin With "Cole, Coleman, Coward and Cohan" Theme
Nebraska Wesleyan University kicks off the first of five cabaret weekends beginning October 26 with an evening filled with the theme, “Cole, Coleman, Coward, and Cohan.”
The evening will feature music by Cole Porter (Anything Goes, Kiss Me Kate), Cy Coleman (Sweet Charity, City of Angels), Noel Coward (Hay Fever, The Girl in Pink Tights), and George M. Cohan (Yankee Doodle Dandy, You’re a Grand Old Flag).
Cabaret performances will be held October 26-28 at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee cabaret on October 28 at 2 p.m. All performances will be held in the Studio Theatre, located at 2710 N. 48th Street, located two blocks west of the NWU campus. Free parking is available behind the building. Seating is limited. All performances are different in the combinations of songs and stories.
