NWU Art Faculty Featured in Lux Center Exhibit

The artistic talents of Nebraska Wesleyan University’s Art Department are now on display at the Lux Center for the Arts.

“Art & Work: Nebraska Wesleyan Faculty Show” is on display through October 27. The exhibit features works — including painting, digital photography, metalsmithing, and ceramics — depicting the unifying theme of the professors’ desire to make meaningful artwork while making a difference in their students’ lives.

Faculty featured in the exhibit include:

  • Byron Anway, Elder Gallery preparatory
  • Angeles Cossio, visiting instructor of art
  • David Gracie, associate professor of art
  • Susan Horn, professor emeritus of art
  • Lisa Lockman, professor of art
  • Jess Starkel, adjunct instructor in art

Lux Center for the Arts is located on the corner of 48th Street and Baldwin Ave. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
