"The Dating Doctor" to Share Relationship Advice at NWU
America’s real-life “Hitch” will share relationship advice during a lecture at Nebraska Wesleyan University on Monday, April 11.
David Coleman — who is also known as “The Dating Doctor” — will address “Making Relationships Matter” beginning at 8 p.m. in O’Donnell Auditorium, located at 50th Street and Huntington Ave.
Coleman has been honored 12 times as National Speaker of the Year by Campus Activities Magazine and The National Association for Campus Activities. He earned his bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology and his master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University. He is the author of “Making Relationships Matter,” “Date Smart!” and “101 Great Dates.”
His presentation will help attendees learn to date creatively and with proper motives in mind, learn to appreciate and practice the characteristics found in healthy relationships, and learn to identify and practice the three types of love found in loving healthy relationships.
Coleman’s presentation is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, Order of Omega, and the Women’s Resource Center.
