Nebraska Wesleyan University’s opera program is about to go a little crazy.

Eighteen music students will perform in this year’s opera scenes, “Opera Goes Crazy” on November 15-16. The program will feature selections from operas in which characters either go crazy, were crazy, or are simply certifiably nuts. A wealth of repertoire will be performed including selections from Hamlet, The Flying Dutchman and Albert Herring.

Performances each evening will begin at 7:30 p.m. in O’Donnell Auditorium, located at 50th Street and Huntington Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
