NWU Announces New Scholarship Opportunities for Community College Transfers

Nebraska Wesleyan University has formed new partnerships with three community colleges that will expand opportunities for transfer students who want to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Nebraska Wesleyan and Southeast Community College, Metro Community College, and Iowa Western Community College have entered partnerships that will allow students from each of the three community colleges to receive a $1,000 scholarship. The Bridge Transfer Scholarship will assist students who wish to transfer to NWU and seek a bachelor’s degree.

Transfer students can enroll in Nebraska Wesleyan’s Advantage Program or its College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.

Transfer students who are interested in enrolling in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences (NWU's traditional undergraduate program) can contact the Admissions Office at 402.465.2218 or email admissions@nebrwesleyan.edu.

Transfer students who are interested in enrolling in University College (NWU's program for adult students) can contact Melissa Green for Lincoln classes at 402.465.2330 or email mgreen@nebrwesleyan.edu or Andrea Simms for Omaha classes at 402.465.3555 or email asimms@nebrwesleyan.edu.
