If you are new to NWU voice mail and need to set up your mailbox, please follow
these instructions.
If you get in to someone’s voice mail to leave a message and the person you called
is long winded and you don’t want to listen to their whole message you can simply
skip to the end, get the "beep," and leave your message by pressing the #
(pound) key.
2. If you want to get to your new messages as
quickly as possible without listening to Marcia, do the
following:
Dial 7500, when Marcia answers press your PIN number followed immediately by #
(pound) 1 1. It only saves a few seconds, but, you don’t have to wait for the long
pause after you enter your PIN number.
3. If you would like to
transfer a caller to someone else's voice mail you:
Press the transfer button.
Dial 7000.
When you hear a ladies voice
telling you "dial the extension to transfer to," dial the person's extension
you want to
transfer the caller to.
Hang up.
