wesleyan to perform romantic winter comedy, almost, maine

LINCOLN, Neb. —Winter arrives early at Nebraska Wesleyan University when the Theatre Department performs the comedy Almost, Maine.

Winter can be frigid in the small town of Almost, Maine but warm romance is in the stars for the residents of Almost. As stars form constellations in the night sky, contemporary playwright John Cariani constructs charming, quirky, ultimately hopeful and humorous vignettes in this 2007 play about love, winter and community.

Performances are scheduled for September 18-19 and September 24-26 at 7:30 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinee shows on September 20th and 27th. All shows will be held in Miller Theatre, located at 51st Street and Huntington Ave. Admission is $10 for adults, $7.50 for senior citizens and students 12 to 18 years, and $5 for students under 12. Tickets can be reserved by calling the box office at 465.2384.
