entries needed for 2009 art of fine craft exhibit

LINCOLN, Neb. — Nebraska Wesleyan University's Elder Gallery is announcing its call for entries for the 2009 Art of Fine Craft national juried exhibition.

The exhibit will showcase the best work in fine craft including ceramics, glass, textiles, fibers, metalwork, jewelry, woodwork and printmaking. The exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Art of Fine Craft conference scheduled for October 1-2. The biennial conference is coordinated by the Lux Center for the Arts and Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Entry fee is $30 for three entries. Jurors are artists Jason Briggs, Victoria Goro-Rapoport, Jess Starkel and Sonya Clark. Awards will include a $500 best of show and three $150 juror's choice awards.
