wesleyan to host international film festival
LINCOLN, Neb. — International film enthusiasts will have an opportunity to see six foreign films at Nebraska Wesleyan University’s international film festival, February 14-17.
The films feature French, German, Francophone, Indian, Spanish, and Japanese selections all centered around the theme of love.
The following is a schedule of events:
Thursday, February 14 — Paris, je t’aime, (Paris, I Love You) French selection, 7 p.m., Olin A Lecture Hall
Friday, February 15 — Dare mo shiranai (Nobody Knows), Japanese selection, 7 p.m., Olin A Lecture Hall
Saturday, February 16 — Bamako, Francophone selection, 2 p.m., Olin B Lecture Hall
Saturday, February 16 — Water, Indian selection, 7 p.m., Olin A Lecture Hall
Sunday, February 17 — Barefuss (Barefoot), German selection, 2 p.m., Olin A Lecture Hall
Sunday, February 17 — Te doy mis ojos (Take My Eyes), Spanish selection, 7 p.m., Olin A Lecture Hall
All films are free and open to the public, and will be shown with English subtitles. A discussion session will follow each film. Olin A and Olin B lecture halls are housed in Olin Hall of Science, located at 51st Street and St. Paul Ave.
