wesleyan celebrates the holidays with a christmas carol
LINCOLN, Neb. —A Charles Dickens holiday classic will be staged this season when Nebraska Wesleyan University presents A Christmas Carol.
Considered by some to be one of the most popular and enduring Christmas stories of all time, A Christmas Carol brings to stage the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of an evening. Part ghost story and part celebration, the production also includes the spirits of Christmas past, present, and future, the festive Fezziwigs, and the darling Cratchit family. The role of Ebenezer Scrooge will be played by Alan Brincks of Ossian, Iowa.
Performances are scheduled for November 29-30, December 1, December 6-8, and December 13-15 at 7:30 p.m., and December 2 and December 9 at 2 p.m. All shows will be held in McDonald Theatre, 51st Street and Huntington Ave.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $7.50 for students 12-18 years and senior citizens, and $5 for youth under 12 years. Tickets can be reserved by calling the box office at 402.465.2384.
