SENIOR ART EXHIBITION TO OPEN AT WESLEYAN
Lincoln, Neb.— Two senior art majors at Nebraska
Wesleyan University will display their work when the annual Senior
Art Exhibition opens Tuesday, April 29 in Wesleyan’s Elder
Gallery.
The show will run through May 17. An opening reception
is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. The student artists
will discuss their work during Senior Gallery Talks on Wednesday,
May 7, from 4 to 5 p.m.
The featured artists include Tomomi Kojima, an international
exchange student from Kawagoe City, Japan who will exhibit ceramics
and mixed media pieces; and Jess Starkel of Omaha who will exhibit
paintings and ceramics.
Elder Gallery is located in the Rogers Center for
Fine Arts, 50th Street and Huntington Avenue. The gallery is open
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday
and Sunday. All exhibits are free and open to the public.
