Comedian Dave Attell to Appear at Nebraska
Wesleyan University
LINCOLN, Neb. Nebraska Wesleyan Universitys
Union Programs will present comedian Dave Attell at 9:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, March 13, 2002 in ODonnell Auditorium.
Highly respected by the industry, the media, as
well as by his audiences, Dave Attell has risen to the top of his
craft. He recently finished shooting his self-titled pilot for Comedy
Central. He can be seen on Comedy Centrals The Daily
Show with Jon Stewart as well as his own half-hour special.
Attell was named one of Interview Magazines 30
People Under 30, as well as being featured in New York
Magazine as a premiere New York comic.
After his first performance on The Late Show
with David Letterman, Attell was hand picked by Lorne Michaels
to be a writer/performer on Saturday Night Live. In
March of 1995, Attell was featured on HBOs Young Comedians
Special live from the U.S. Comedy and Arts Festival in Aspen.
Last year, Attell was nominated for an American Comedy Award as
best male stand-up, and since then has been busy touring across
the country.
Tickets are available to the public for $10 each
and can be purchased in advance through the Campus Activities Office
by calling (402) 465-2412. Office hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday
through Friday. Tickets are free to all Nebraska Wesleyan students,
faculty and staff. ODonnell Auditorium is located at the corner
of 50th St. and Huntington Ave. Due to adult language/situations,
this performance is not recommended for all ages.
