Nebraska Wesleyan University Forensics
Competes at State Tournament
CRETE, Neb. - The Nebraska Wesleyan University forensics
squad capped off its regular season competition with a strong finish
at the Nebraska Intercollegiate Forensics Association (NIFA) state
tournament held February 16-17, 2002 at Doane College in Crete.
Junior Aaron Duncan (Lincoln, Neb.) led
the Weasels, Wesleyans forensic team, with a second place
finish in individual sweepstakes. Duncan finished 1st in Impromptu
Speaking and Extemporaneous Speaking, 3rd in After Dinner Speaking,
and 6th in Persuasive Speaking.
Sophomore Jennifer Myers (Geneva, Neb.)
took top honors in Communication Analysis and finished 8th overall
in individual sweepstakes. There were no team awards.
