Nebraska Wesleyan University Establishes
Nebraska United Methodist Scholarships
College-bound Methodist students from Nebraska will
now be eligible for a scholarship to attend Nebraska Wesleyan University
in Lincoln beginning with the fall 2002 academic semester. Awards
up to the amount of $750 will be distributed, and will be renewable
for up to four years, based upon students academic standing
and endorsement by his/her local minister.
Qualification will be based upon students
acceptance to Nebraska Wesleyan University, his/her membership in
the United Methodist Church, leadership and service to his/her local
church and to the Nebraska Annual Conference, as well as his/her
financial need. Students eligible for the award may apply by completing
a Nebraska Wesleyan University financial aid application and providing
an endorsement of their church membership and participation from
their local minister.
